Rebuilding teeth that are cracked, heavily filled or already gone. A crown caps what is left of a tooth; a bridge spans a gap using the teeth either side; dentures replace a whole section. All three are made here from a digital scan.
Crowns
A cap over a cracked, worn or root-treated tooth, restoring its shape and stopping it splitting.

Bridges
Fills a gap by anchoring to the teeth either side. Fixed in place, cleaned with a floss threader.
Implant-supported
A crown or bridge held by an implant instead of by neighbouring teeth, so nothing healthy is cut down.
When you need one
Usually one of these.
- A tooth that has cracked, or a large old filling that is failing
- A root-treated back tooth, which is brittle and will split without a crown
- One or more missing teeth leaving a gap the others are drifting into
- A denture that has stopped fitting as the bone underneath has changed
How it goes
Two visits, about two weeks apart.
Prepare and scan
The tooth is shaped and scanned digitally. No impression putty.
Temporary fitted
You leave with a working tooth, not a gap, while the permanent one is made.
Fit and cement
Tried in, checked for shade, contact and bite, then cemented.
Bite check
You bite on paper and we adjust until it feels like your own tooth.
What it costs
Crowns start at $999 and implant dentures at $6,999. A bridge is quoted by how many units it spans, so a three-unit bridge costs more than a single crown. Most PPO plans cover a share of both. Where a bridge and an implant are both options we will give you the figures for each. You get the figure in writing before anything is booked, and we check your insurance first so you know your share, not just the list price.

How much does a dental crown cost?
Crowns start at $999 here, and the figure depends on the material and the tooth. Most PPO plans cover a share. We give you the figure, and what your insurance leaves you to pay, before the tooth is prepared.
How long do crowns and bridges last?
Commonly 10 to 15 years, often longer. What shortens them is grinding and decay at the margin where the crown meets the tooth, both of which are manageable.
Bridge or implant?
A bridge is quicker and cheaper up front, but it means cutting down the healthy teeth either side of the gap. An implant leaves them untouched and usually lasts longer. We will price both and let you decide.
Do you make dentures?
Yes, full and partial, and implant-supported dentures for anyone tired of a plate that slips.
Does getting a crown hurt?
The tooth is numbed, so no. If it was root-treated there is no nerve in it at all.
