New patients and appointments
Are you taking new patients?
Yes, and you do not need a referral. Call (530) 671-2170 or send a request and the front desk will call you back to confirm a time.
What happens at a first visit?
About an hour. We talk through what is bothering you, take digital X-rays and a 3D scan where it matters, examine your teeth, gums and bite, then give you a written plan with the costs on it. Nothing is treated on the day unless you are in pain and want it dealt with.
What does a first visit cost?
An exam with the X-rays we need is $89 if you have no insurance. If you are insured we bill your plan and tell you your share before anything is booked.
I have not been to a dentist in years. Will I be judged?
No. It is one of the most common things people tell us on the phone. We start where you are, deal with anything painful first, and work through the rest in an order you agree to.
What are your hours?
Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and Friday 8 AM to 2 PM, at 909 Plumas Street, Yuba City, CA 95991.
Cost, insurance and payment
Do you take my insurance?
We are in network with most PPO plans and we file the claim for you. Call with your card and the front desk will check it in a couple of minutes, before you commit to anything.
What if I have no insurance?
Our in-house membership plan starts at $500 a year and covers your preventive care with 35% off other treatment. CareCredit and Cherry spread larger treatment over monthly payments.
Will I know what it costs before you start?
Yes, in writing. We quote the treatment, tell you what your insurance is expected to cover and what is left for you. If the plan changes mid-treatment, you hear about it before the change happens.
What do implants cost here?
A single implant starts at $1,099 and an All-on-X full arch at $12,999, with IV sedation included on implant cases. Implant dentures start at $6,999. The consultation and 3D scan are free.
Treatment
Does it hurt?
Everything is done numb. IV sedation is available for surgery and included on implant cases, and for anyone whose anxiety is the reason they have been putting a visit off.
Do you do implants here or refer them out?
Here. Dr. Navjot Singh plans and places implants in this building and restores them himself, which is unusual for a practice this size and the reason patients travel to us from Marysville, Live Oak and Auburn.
Can you see me today if I am in pain?
Call first thing. We keep weekday time open for urgent visits, and the front desk will tell you honestly on the phone whether you need to be seen today.
Do you see children?
Yes. Dr. Gurpreet Kaur sees children from around their first birthday, and the first visit is mostly about getting them comfortable in the chair.
Do you offer sedation?
Yes, including IV sedation, which is included at no extra cost on implant procedures.
