Invisalign clear aligners
Straightening without metal brackets. A series of clear trays moves your teeth a fraction at a time, and you change them yourself every week or two. Adults choose it because nobody notices it and it comes out for meals.
What Invisalign handles well
Most everyday cases, and some it used to refer on.
- Crowding and overlapping front teeth
- Gaps and spacing
- Mild to moderate overbite, underbite and crossbite
- Teeth that have drifted back after braces years ago
Severe bite problems are sometimes better served by braces, and we will say so rather than sell you the wrong treatment.
How treatment goes
Most cases run 6 to 18 months.
Free consultation and 3D scan
A digital scan of your teeth, with no charge and no putty, and a preview of where the treatment ends.
Your aligners arrive
A full series, made to your scan. You wear each tray 20 to 22 hours a day.
Check-ins
Every six to eight weeks, to confirm the teeth are tracking the plan.
Retainers
Fitted as soon as you finish, because teeth drift back if nothing holds them.
What it costs
Invisalign starts at $4,500 here, and the final figure depends on how far the teeth have to move and how many trays that takes. Some PPO plans include orthodontic cover; CareCredit and Cherry spread the rest over monthly payments. You get the figure in writing before anything is booked, and we check your insurance first so you know your share, not just the list price.
Common questions
How much does Invisalign cost?
From $4,500 at this office. A short case with mild crowding is at the lower end; a longer case with more movement costs more because it needs more trays. Your quote comes from the 3D scan, in writing, before you commit.
How long does Invisalign take?
Most cases run 6 to 18 months. Minor crowding can finish inside six. Wearing the trays 20 to 22 hours a day is what keeps it on schedule.
Will people notice?
Rarely. The trays are clear and thin, and most patients find colleagues do not spot them until they mention it.
Invisalign or braces?
Invisalign for most adult cases and anyone who does not want visible brackets. Braces still have the edge on severe bite correction and on patients who will not keep trays in. We will tell you which yours is.
Do I have to wear a retainer afterwards?
Yes, and this is not optional. Teeth move back towards where they started for years afterwards. A retainer at night is what makes the treatment permanent.
