About our text messaging program
Plumas Family Dentistry & Implant Center, operated by Dr. Navjot Singhs Dental Corporation, is a dental practice located at 909 Plumas St, Yuba City, CA 95991. We send appointment reminders, appointment confirmations, scheduling updates, and replies to patient inquiries by SMS text message to individuals who have opted in. This is a low-volume, conversational messaging program. We do not send unsolicited marketing texts, and we never message anyone who has not given express consent.
How you opt in
We collect express written consent on our website. When a prospective patient submits our appointment request form at plumasfamilydentistry.com/appointment/, they must check a consent checkbox that is unchecked by default, actively agreeing to receive text messages. Only individuals who check this box are contacted by SMS.
Patients may also opt in verbally when they call our office at (530) 671-2170 and provide their phone number for appointment communications. Our team reads the same disclosure aloud and records the consent, the date, and the number. We do not purchase, rent, or obtain phone numbers or consent from any third party, and consent is never a condition of receiving dental care.
